In the fourth quarter of 2024, the iOS platform in Uruguay saw interesting trends in the performance of fast food and fast casual restaurant apps. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here’s a closer look at the top five apps in this category.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery, published by Arcos Dorados Latin America, experienced fluctuating weekly downloads. Starting at approximately 1.6K in early October, downloads dipped to around 1K mid-quarter but ended the year on a high note with about 1.9K by December's end. The app maintained a strong base of active users, climbing from 31.5K to a peak of 38.6K.

The Mostaza app, from Mostaza y Pan S.A, showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 1.2K and reaching nearly 1.9K by mid-December. Active users also increased significantly, starting from 2.6K and peaking at around 4K.

Burger King® Uruguay, published by Burger King Corporation, had a relatively stable download trend, with numbers hovering around 800 weekly. Active users saw a slight decline from 7.3K to 5.7K by the end of December.

The Starbucks secret menu! app, created by Chingiz Zholdaspayev, had modest weekly downloads averaging around 150. Its active user base remained steady, increasing slightly from 1.5K to 1.7K.

Finally, Subway Trinidad, from Quipsol Limited, saw downloads fluctuate from 195 in mid-October to 83 by the end of December. Active users were recorded at 106 at the close of the quarter.
